Jay Mallin Sr |
Jay Mallin Sr has been a news correspondent for most of his career, covering stories on five continents. He has reported on wars from Angola to El Salvador, and from Cuba to Viet Nam. He has also been the editor of an English-language tabloid in Cuba, a university researcher, and news director of a U.S. Government radio station that broadcast to Cuba. He has written numerous articles for Time magazine and other publications. Among his books are Strategy for Conquest, Terror and Urban Guerrillas, 'Che' Guevara on Revolution, Terror in Viet Nam and History of the Cuban Military. He lives in Maryland.
Robert Scheina has worked as a historian and as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. government. He earned a doctorate from The Catholic University in Washington, DC,, a master’s from Universidad de las Americas in Mexico City, and a bachelor’s from Parsons College in Fairfield, Iowa. This book is his tenth. Each one addressing military history. They include the two volume Latin American Wars 1791– 2001, American Battleships 1886—1923 and biographies of Lopez de Santa Anna and Poncho Villa. He has also written well over one hundred articles that have been published by scholarly works such as the Encyclopedia Britannica and children’s magazines like Cobblestones. He currently lives in Maryland.
